Basic MakeUp in just 10 steps ♡

Hola Chicas

My blog today is going to be about the 10 products for a basic & every day MakeUp look, before applying any makeup make sure to wash your face well by applying some cleanser, toner & a moisturizer especially for those having a very dry skin. After you wash your face you can start applying your makeup by following these easy steps below:

  • Primer
  • Concealer
  • Foundation
  • Powder
  • Bronzer & Blusher
  • Eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Eyebrows
  • Lipstick
  • Eye Shadow

Start off with a Primer which will make your skin feel smoother and look moisturized .

Many use an alternative – CC cream or BB cream which are more likely to be used for those who have redness area and want full coverage. These are all made of collagen. There are many types and colors of CC creams and BB creams however the most popular is the BB cream as it gives full coverage when applied under the foundation and it has the SPF15 as well. Some use the BB cream for a glowing simple every day look, which I usually do most of the time. You can also apply a regular primer.

Apply concealer right after the foundation for darken skin especially around the eye.

Remember that too much concealer around the eye will emphasize any fine lines and will cause makeup to crease. Choose a solid concealer for dark spots and freckles.

Next comes the very important part which is the Foundation.

Buy a foundation which is more likely to your skin tone and skin type – dry, oily or combination skin. Shake it well before using it and you can start by applying  it to your face. It is important that to have a sheer coverage apply your foundation with your fingers and then use a brush to obtain a medium to full coverage and to make it look more polished.

Now apply some Powder as it is very important if you want your makeup to last longer.

Always apply powder where your shiniest areas are, which is usually your T-Zone, apply a very light dusting everywhere else. This will make your foundation look more fixed. Some prefer a loose powder while others prefer a compact powder which is more practical in my opinion.

Now Blush it up and don’t forget to smile 🙂

Choose your favorite blush color, mine is the TERRACOTTA BLUSH-ON from Flormar
It provides the skin with a healthy vivid look covering the skin perfectly with its velvety and soft texture. Start by applying your blush on the apple of your cheek, blend the blush back towards the top of the ear then down towards the jaw line.

This is my favourite part – the Eyeliner.

I don’t usually apply eyeliner in my daily routine however when I do I always make it look like the classic one like shown below. When applying the eyeliner instead of looking straight ahead at the mirror, get as close to it as possible, stick your head up and bring your chin toward the mirror. You want to look down as you apply, starting at the inner corner and making sure to go all the way out to the fold on the outside of the eye.

Make sure that when applying your eyeliner you make an uplift movement – you need your face to look happy 🙂 in the image below you can find different styles of eyeliner.

The only drama I enjoy is on my lashes – Mascara.

For my daily routine I use a mascara which I bought from Essence  which is the lash princess volume mascara, it gives my lashes that natural volume look. When applying mascara you don’t want to do quick soft motions, instead jam the wand into the root of the lash and do zigzag motions as you go up.

I am obsessed with – Eyebrows.

Always apply your brow pencil or powder to the upper portion of the eyebrow to lift your face up. Apply some Brow gel and your Brow are now ready to rock.

Easy right?! #EyebrowsOnFleek

On a bad day there is always – Lipstick.

Before applying any lipstick make sure to apply some loose or compact powder on your lips which will give you a full coverage look and a long-lasting result. You want to make sure your lipstick is not too defined at your cupid’s bow which is the top of your lips. Make sure to press down hard as you apply.

This is the last step where you need to blend well – the Eyeshadow.

Always start with a base shadow without any shimmer that matches with the lightest skin tone of your face and apply all over your lid up to the brow. You should use this base shadow to make sure that you covered the darkest areas.

Beauty tips:

Use an exfoliating scrub and apply mask at least once a week for a purifying skin – don’t forget to drink a lot of water & remember ‘Wakeup & Makeup’ 🙂
