Hey there dear followers, Welcome back to my Blog ♡
Today I will be reviewing 2 skin products which I practically use everyday. I am referring to the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and the Nivea Micellar Caring Water. So what’s all the hype about these two products? Let’s start by saying that I like both products and I am very glad that I discovered them.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
I have been using this product for about two years now and I am really satisfied with how it really removes all of your makeup. I am saying ‘all makeup’ simply because it removes all types of makeup from light to heavy makeup even if its been on for a long time. After removing all of the makeup, your face will feel a bit dry so it is suggested to use a moisturizer afterwards. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is suitable for all skin types although I don’t recommend daily use for those who have a very dry skin as it tends to dry out your skin.
Nivea Caring Micellar Water
I have discovered this product recently while I was in Poland. Honestly I have never heard of any micellar water from Nivea so I was optimistic to try this one out! Since the wording on the bottle are written in polish language that bdw I do not understand a word of it I eventually searched the web to find out what this product consists of. I read a lot of good reviews about it. It actually does the same work as the Garnier Micellar water but it tends to remove any makeup easily and at the same time makes the skin feels softened without having to rinse or apply any moisturizer. It also helps to protect against redness, tightness and dryness.
How to use:
To remove eye makeup you need to rub a cotton pad with the Micellar water over your closed eyes for a few seconds. It’s important that you rub gently not to cause any damage to your lashes. As for the rest gently apply all over until skin is completely clean from makeup and impurities. This applies for both the products.
Price may vary from a shop to another, I usually buy the Garnier online. I prefer to buy it online rather than locally as it’s much cheaper. I buy it for the price of Eur 10, sometimes even less when there is a promotion ongoing. Additionally, I bought the Nivea product from a supermarket in Poland for the price of 10 Zloty which is approximately Eur 2, a bargain right? yep, life in Poland is very cheap
My opinion on these products is that I would go for the Nivea Micellar water, could be because I really believe in Nivea products and that they work like magic and are usually well-priced. Also, it does not dry out your skin very quickly which is a PLUS!. I tried and tested lots of different makeup removers from different brands and I found these two to be the best by far. I will definitely purchase both of the products again. You can never have enough products in your beauty corner
That’s all for today and I hope that you found this blog post helpful and helped you decide in which makeup remover you should try next time.
